Are you in the mood for a wintery picture book full of lovable characters and a large helping of Christmas magic? Then get your blanket and cocoa ready, because we have a very special children’s book recommendation for you: “The Winter Wish”.
William’s already very excited: Christmas is only eleven days away! He lives with his parents in an apartment above the family bookshop. The smell of dad’s homemade gingerbread is in the air and countless treasures on the shelves are waiting to be discovered and turned into gifts. But sadly, only a few customers find their way into the lovely store at the end of the street. To prevent the store from closing, an idea is needed! An idea from William gets the ball rolling. Will the Christmas miracle happen and the bookshop be saved?

The bookshop is lovingly run by William’s parents. Furnished with colorful carpets, plush cushions and a creaky wooden floor, it is clear to William that “Words of Wonder” is the best bookshop in the world. For him, there’s nothing better than snuggling up to the family dog and immersing himself in the world of books. If only it weren’t for the lack of customers …

“The Winter Wish” stimulates children’s imaginations and tells an exciting, Christmassy story: a thoroughly inviting book – ideal for children aged four and over.

Let’s be honest, sometimes it’s not so easy for adults to get into the Christmas spirit.
