She reminds us how important imagination is as well as finding the joy in little things and shared experiences.
Pippi knows how to celebrate a birthday! In good spirits and with great generosity, she throws a party for her friends, Tommy and Annika. Pippi arranges an invitation in her own way and the kids come in their best going out clothes. A whole load of fun ensues, just as is always the case with these stories.

Her adventures are full of excitement and a dash of nonsense that will always make children laugh. Pippi is quite simply the ultimate childhood friend.

Even for adults, Pippi is much more than just a children’s book character. She is a symbol of freedom, courage and self-determination. Pippi shows us how to face life’s adversities with a little cheekiness and a lot of heart. If she were standing in front of you at this moment, she would probably say: ‘Don’t always take everything so seriously!’. She inspires us to find our inner strength and stand up for what we believe in. And isn’t that more important today than ever?
